On October 7, 2023, the State of Israel endured an early morning surprise attack from Hamas militants and Palestinian terrorists against families, children, and even young people at a music festival in southern Israel. It has been called the worst loss of life in an attack against Jewish people since the holocaust during World War II. We hope that on October 7, 2024, you will all take time to pray for the peace of Jerusalem, pray for the return of all remaining hostages being held in Gaza, pray for the defeat of Hezbollah, Hamas, and Iran, and pray for peace around the world. Events are being planned to remember this solemn day all around the country and the world. In Arkansas, we are blessed to have former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee hosting an event with the National Association of Christian Lawmakers at the Arkansas State Capitol. We hope that everyone who is able will attend this brief ceremony and time of prayer at 9 a.m., October 7th.
Psalm 122:6 ESV
Pray for the peace of Jerusalem! “May they be secure who love you!
Psalm 122:6-8 ESV
Pray for the peace of Jerusalem! “May they be secure who love you! Peace be within your walls and security within your towers!” For my brothers and companions' sake I will say, “Peace be within you!”
Isaiah 62:1-12 ESV
For Zion's sake I will not keep silent, and for Jerusalem's sake I will not be quiet, until her righteousness goes forth as brightness, and her salvation as a burning torch. The nations shall see your righteousness, and all the kings your glory, and you shall be called by a new name that the mouth of the Lord will give. You shall be a crown of beauty in the hand of the Lord, and a royal diadem in the hand of your God.
Genesis 12:1-3 ESV
Now the Lord said to Abram, “Go from your country and your kindred and your father's house to the land that I will show you. And I will make of you a great nation, and I will bless you and make your name great, so that you will be a blessing. I will bless those who bless you, and him who dishonors you I will curse, and in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.”
Having served in the Arkansas State Senate for 12 years, I have sponsored and voted for many pieces of legislation in support of Israel. It has been my honor to do so. I sincerely pray that our nation will reject antisemitism and those who promote it. The Jewish people are only .002 percent of the entire world population - why do militant Muslims, terrorists, Hezbollah, Hamas, Iran, and many Democrat politicians target them with such hatred? It is demonic. God chose the Jewish people and He made a covenant with them. They have suffered much sorrow and agony at the hands of antisemites in our world. Let us all stand with them as people of the Book. God bless you, God bless the United States of America, and God bless Israel!
Sincerely,
Jason Rapert Founder & President
