CRUSADE ACTIVITIY
IN KORMANTSE
There were four days of very effective and powerful preaching of the word of God and ministration to the Kormantse
community. As usual all sixteen church denominations within Kormantse came together to join hands with HGM to do the crusade.
It was awesome as hundreds of people came forward to answer
the call for salvation this year.
Others witnessed healings and deliverance.
A young lady that possessed evil spirits received her deliverance after been prayed for, for several hours.
At the invitation of Evangelist Jason Rapert, Oasis International
led by Rev Mattox joined us for the last two days of the crusade. Their team was made up of eleven people.
Rev Mattox preached on the last day. Rev. Glenn Chadwick also had a chance to preach at the crusade.
It has been so refreshing and many Christians here have renewed
their zeal and commitment in serving the Lord.
SEMINAR FOR PASTORS AND CHURCH LEADERS.
A seminar geared at equipping pastors and church leaders for
the ministry was organized.
Participants
came to be trained and also receive capacity building skills. At the end of it both HGM team members and the local pastors
and church leaders have benefited from the very frank and earnest way issues were tackled.
INSPECTION
OF WATER PROJECT
The HGM team members as well as some local pastors and church leaders visited the water project at Upper Kormantse.
We are delighted to report that this water projects has been of immense help to both residents of Upper Lower Kormantse. Thanks
to the Donors.
VILLAGE FEEDING
A total of 5,000 meals were served
by HGM in Ghana. In our villages alone, 4,000 packets were served at Upper Kormantse, Lower Kormantse and Abandze (a nearby
community) It was a scene to see children as they struggled for the packets of rice, eggs and fish.
MIKE PIKE ORPHANAGE.
HGM team members and
the Ghana Board of Advisors worked very hard on securing the donated land for the Mike Pike Orphanage.
After inspecting the land, it was agreed that the
land given for the project was very adequate and therefore was accepted. By God’s grace we are expecting work to begin
soon.
A series of meetings
went on between the Ghana Board of Advisors, District Chief Executive Robert Quainoo-Arthur, Nana Kwame Akyen II, Nana Bempong
Otu and Elders in connection with building of the Orphanage.
S.G.B.C SCHOLARSHIP FUND.
An amount of $ 3,000 was paid into the Southern Ghana Bible College Scholarship fund.
This amount goes to support student pastors
who have difficulty in paying all their fees.
APPRECIATION
We thank God for a successful Ghana Mission 2007 that has been accomplished. We also
do appreciate HGM members that made the trip. Evan. Jason and family we love you. We pray for God’s blessings
for all HGM directors Rik Sowell, Bret Carroll, Bo Conner, Mary Rapert and Laurie Rapert for your great support. May God bless
all our volunteers and every other partner.
Tracy
Leach , may the favour of the Almighty ever lead you for your selfless work for the ministry.
Father Jim Byrum of Iovino family Foundation, thank
you very much for the generous support and grant in support of water and sanitation projects in Ghana.
Partners at Cook, Cole, Pillow and Rapert stay
blessed. Rotary Conway Club friends, thank you for rendering service above self to Kormantse and environs.
Thanks to you, Dr Philip Bailey of the University of Central
Arkansas for your assistance.
Indeed, there are numerous individuals
and groups that make HGM activities in Ghana a reality without whose help we can not move forward. God would reward you all
in due course.
We love you all.
Stay Blessed.
